AI Maturity Model
A staged framework for assessing how advanced an organization's AI capability is.
Definition
An AI maturity model is a staged framework — typically four to five tiers — that describes where an organization sits in its AI capability development across dimensions like strategy, data, talent, operating model, and governance.
Context
Interactive Intel uses a four-stage model: Foundation Building, Scaling, Acceleration, and Interactive Intel-class. Maturity models matter because they reveal the next-best move; the right play for a Foundation-stage org is very different from the right play for an Acceleration-stage one.
